Baal Prabodhini conducted a two-day residential workshop at Tala, Maharsahtra. 7th grade students of Gopinath Vedak Vidyamandir school participated in this workshop. The two-day programme included important lessons on how to achieve accademic success and valuable tips on developing an all round personality.

Children aged 10-14 years participated in a two-day residential camp on November 17th and 18th, 2012 at Kelve Road. Various sessions including a session on Vedic Maths, were conducted during the camp to instil values like love for learning, social commitment, team work, self reliance etc. in children. Games, Yoga & physical exercises along with lectures were organised as part of the camp curricula to enable all round development of participants.

Residential-Workshops for Xth Grade

A two-day workshop was conducted at Girton High School, Grant Road Mumbai, for Xth Grade students. This module is designed specifically for the Xth graders as it is the most crucial year of their student life. The workshop was a great success and got an overwhelming response from the students. The topics included time management, goal setting, managing stress, how to achieve concentration, how to improve your listening skills in the classroom? Tips for cultivating reading and writing skills, were also discussed. All the sessions were interspersed with games and activities.

Baal Prabodhini Reaches Out

Baal Prabodhini participated in the Exibition "Atharva Mela" arranged by "Spandan" at the Dahisar Vidya Prasarak Mandal School from 7th to 9th Sept.

Based on our Mission Statement "To mould our future generation", we show cased our offerings on Academic and Personality development. Enthusiasts visiting our stall were provided detail information on the two year program for Academic and Personality development as well as the Teachers Training course, vacation camps, residential workshops for children, workshops in rural areas and orphanage

We received an overwhelming response from parents as well as teachers. Over 90 enrolled into our Teachers Training course with many more completing the intimation forms to have their children participate in vacation camps.

Dapoli Seminar on Personality Development

Baal Prabodhini Team successfully conducted a one day Seminar on Personality Development at Dr. Baalasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidypeeth, Dapoli on 18th March 2012. This Seminar was attended by around 150 undergraduate & graduate students from Agriculture Science & Technology Streams.

The interactive session with students focused on relevant contemporary issues such as stress management, time management, effective listening skills and Self-Motivation. The session highlighted the need to equip the students with special skills and competencies to enable them to successfully deal with their often stressful and demanding schedules. There was a special focus on personal leadership qualities and also provided insights into group dynamics at these sessions. The Seminar ended on a high note of personal empowerment for the students.

Baal Prabodhini Camps in April 2011

Workshop at Aapla Ghar, Donje, Pune:

Baal Prabodhini held a 2-day camp on November 1st and 2nd, 2011 for the benefit of children living in the 'Aapla Ghar' orphanage in Pune founded by Shri Vijay Phalnikar. 50 children from this orphanage, in the age group 8 to 14 years, participated in this camp on academic and personality development.

MCGM Swayam Siddha Project

The Baal Prabodhini Teachers faced a unique challenge as childern participating in this program came from a mix of English, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Kannada, Telgu and Gujarati medium MCGM schools. We thus had to conduct sessions in Hindi, English and Marathi so that majority of the children could understand and help embibe the unique principles of learning that Baal Prabodhini had to offer. The sessions across all twenty-five schools were conducted successfully and received positive response and we have also recieved an Letter of Appreciation from MCGM.

Gopinath Mahadev Vedak Vidyamandir,Tala, Maharashtra

A four-day workshop was organised by Baal Prabodhini in the month of November 2011, thanks to the good offices of Shri Vithal Joshi who is devoted to the welfare and progress of students in Raigad district (Maharashtra). About 80 7th grade students attended & eagerly participated in all educational and personality development sessions that were specially designed for these rural school students.
